At the UC Irvine Outreach Clinics, we welcome those who do not qualify for county- or government-sponsored programs such as MSI or MediCal and cannot afford private insurance. Our goal is to provide free high-quality health care to the underserved and uninsured populations in Orange County.

UC Irvine Outreach Clinic at the Village of Hope

Registering for our clinic at the VOH is a two-step process. Because the UC Irvine Outreach Clinic is specifically for those patients who do not qualify for MediCal or MSI, we request that patients first register with the Hurtt Family Clinic to get a determination of their eligibility. Prospective patients will need to call the Hurtt Family Clinic at the Village of Hope to schedule a registration appointment. The Hurtt Family Clinic requires patients to come to the clinic to fill out the registration packet, at which time an eligibility worker will determine whether or not they qualify for any of the above government-sponsored programs.

If the patient does qualify for MediCal or MSI, he or she can be seen at any community clinic that accepts MediCal or MSI and can, in fact, directly make an appointment with the Hurtt Family Clinic. If the patient does not qualify for these programs, he or she will be scheduled for an appointment during our Saturday clinic.

We are currently looking into options to provide bus passes to those who need assistance affording bus fares to and from the clinic site for the registration appointment. Please contact us through our contact page if you would like to request a bus pass.

To make a registration appointment at the Hurtt Family Clinic at the Village of Hope, please call (714) 247-0300 on weekdays during normal business hours.

The UC Irvine Outreach Clinic hours of opperation are Saturday, from 8 AM to 12 PM.
